Eh, there's still a lot of personalities who are rather obstinant and toxic. I've seen people double down and not even consider looking at an article simply because of what domain is from - on both sides. Sometimes I do see the left actually look at sources and voice their actual concerns within the article itself and link it to recurring behaviors with the author... (Well, okay, I saw that once.) But I haven't seen anything else like it here. :/ It just seems like highschool drama wars for adults.

Well, true, it takes a certain type. The stream is by no means a safe space, and you need to be tolerant of intolerance to succeed.

Not saying they're nazis, but there are traits that some exhibit as something to not tolerate. The notion of tolerance is that so long as people are tolerant of you, and are willing to live with you (in your nation) then there is no issue. If they want to exterminate you, then they cannot be tolerant. So focus on the LGBTQ community and their dilemma with conservatives. Or, those who aren't Christian as the largest constituency for Republicans are Christian. When you're painted to be less than human, you are no longer tolerated. Tolerance for the other then ceases.

I'd agree with that sentiment, except they weaponize their flagging system. At least in this stream moderators actually... moderate.
