I think Cornel West is running as a "Green", currently - after having been associated with the Movement for a People's Party, previously.
His politics are distinctly progressive - he was a Bernie Sanders associate and surrogate, at one point. He may owe some to the tax man ... But what he's advocating for, is for the obscenely wealthy, to pay their fair share. Obviously he doesn't have a Trump, or a Bezos tax guy working for him - if he did, the Government would probably owe HIM money, regardless of how much he made.
I see him owing money to the IRS, as a sign of his consistency with his beliefs. He's a respected author and Professor. He's sure to make some money - and I don't doubt that he'll just pay up, rather than fighting over a penny of it.
The DNCIA are unlikely to release any Opposition Research on Newscum... He's their back-up plan, if/when Biden gets in to trouble, gets impeached, or can no longer continue in the race (here's me, rooting for "Died Suddenly"). Their attacks are going to be limited to Kennedy and Williamson - and probably in that order. We've already seen several slanderous volleys launched at RFK Jr..
Frankly, the Democratic Party is disgusting. And I say that as a leftist. Jimmy Dore and many others, myself included, have been telling Kennedy that he should run as an Independent - to get around the DNCIA and their well-known history of shenanigans. He seems to be catching-on as to their plan, to cheat him. If he's smart, he'll keep running as a Democrat - until whatever ballot deadlines approach, and then very loudly and publicly switch, at the last minute - explaining to anyone who'll listen, exactly why he was FORCED to do that.
