Absorbyss belonged to a clan of thieves that had traveled to Earth and used to send their children on dangerous missions. When he became leader, he got rid of the higher-ups and made life safer for children in the clan. He is haunted by the souls of lost children and has abandoned his status as leader to live in the Nexus.
