It’s important to have a balance of story games with meaning and emotion like hollow knight or half life as well as goofy games like spiderheck and pizza tower

Just because a game has no story doesn’t mean it has no meaning.

Video games have so much more to offer than movies do. If all a game has is a story, and it has no progression system, it’s not fun to play, the replayability is null and void, and there are no separate modes, it’s no better than a movie.

I know it’s a nintendo triple A but I love Tears of the Kingdom, there’s something there for everyone

There’s
-puzzles in the shrines and temples
-story
-optional content (in fact it’s all technically optional you can literally just go to the final boss)
-exploration
-a good progression system that involves a hidden exp system to buff enemy spawns and chest loot
And so on

Just the building has had me hooked
