If you think that a “President Kamala Harris” is good for America, then you haven’t been paying attention for the past two decades and are so racist that you are blinded by the facts. Kamala Harris jailed more black men than any other California AG in our state’s history. She even wanted to jail the parents of truant kids…all while never being a parent herself. She knows nothing about the struggles of a single mother (or father) raising a child on her own, and trying to done everything to survive. She has no kids and yet she wants to be the Nation’s moral authority. Hard Pass.

With my humble apologies, I mentioned VP Harris’ lack of children not a a knock on her or anyone - a child is definitely not a requirement to be a good leader. No, my comment was about her racist policy to jail the parents of truant kids. These kids are often raised in low income communities and are in a single parent home where the mom is leaving for work, in most cases, before the kids are even up for school, and return sometimes after dark from working a second job. Kamala wanted to jail parents whose kids were truant. Jailing them is not the answer. If she knew the struggle of being a single working parent on the brink of poverty, she wouldn’t have enacted such a racist policy. If you support her in this capacity, that’s your right. I think it’s wrong and that it was a horrendously racist policy. That said, may god bless you and yours.

And no, it doesn't. The article states that the fault is not of Kamela Harris, but those who carried out the law to extreme degrees. There was also already a law in many states for truant children. Mind you also, that the crime is a misdemeanor, rarely warranting an arrest unless there's already some criminal history. Race has nothing to do with the law.
