The question: Should politicians take mental acuity tests?

Not only should politicians meet certain IQ requirements, they should also have to take mental fortitude tests and emotional maturity tests on top of a background check that requires they have no connections to organised crime, extremist organisations or known lobbyists.

In order for this to be judged fairly each politician should require a court issued licence granted by a jury who are watched by anonymous auditors to stamp out corruption and ensure the aforementioned tests to be granted their licence are granted fairly.

Also politicians that come from affluent or economically privileged backgrounds should be required to spend a percentage of their time with lower class and working class voters to connect with and understand the gravity of their position.

Fact is, everyone would fail. And I don't mean just politicians, I mean everybody.

To date, there is no definition of normal in psychiatry. No one has ever even tried to define it, nor will they ever. There's no such thing. Have you ever encountered a human that wasn't whacked out? Heck, it's the ones that seem the least so that turn out to be the wackiest.
