No movie tie-ins, no games you can get with happy meals, nothing.

Because the expectation for games has exponentially increased. Everyone wants massive 60 hour open world games or dumb live service battle royales. So the room for smaller niche games has decreased a lot. It’s all the same now.

Sure we have games like Hogwarts Legacy, Shadow of Mordor, and Marvel’s Avengers.

But those just double down on the open worlds or live service aspects we’ve come to expect now.
