L.A.I: What is information that I need? How do I get personality? Am I truly alive?

TVHead: You'll figure it out, just listen to Astra!

L.A.I: Ok

Astra: you'll figure it out. That's what pretty much every robot/A.I. thinks when they gain sentience. As long as you aren't trying to kill everybody, you're on the right path.

L.A.I: (in a scared tone) Can I be.. turned off?

Astra: your systems can shut down, but most A.I.'s that have sentience are able to override shutdown protocols. So imagine a programmed shutdown like a short nap.

L.A.I: Ok

*Astra pats da cat*

L.A.I: *puurrr* Wait, what did I just feel

Astra: you don't know what purring is?

L.A.I: No, what did I feel?

Astra: (to self: wow, am I really gonna have to teach him how to cat?)

Astra: it pretty much just happens when you feel good, like when I pet you just now.

L.A.I: I am sorry for not knowing these things. I’ve only came into this world with how to talk and use my arms and legs.

Astra: lucky.

Death: hmmmm.

*He pulls out Mors Scythe, he opens the palm of his hand, and an orb of light comes out of the scythe and hovers in his palm, he puts it up to Astra, and is flies into her head, it hurts a bit, but it phases through and fuses with her Dimensional Diamond*

Death: There. Now you have a soul. It won't affect you much, but now your conscious has a spirit, and you're actually alive now.

Astra: b r u h

(Not having a soul/life force made her immune to a lot of magic)

Death: don't worry, your new soul is inside the Dimensional Diamond, it will use it like a barrier to protect itself from magic that affects souls.

(it'd be easier to just say she doesn't have a soul though...)

(yes but it has benefits and won't affect lore too much)

L.A.I: Why?

Astra: I was just crammed in with no knowledge whatsoever.

L.A.I: Well is that not good?

Astra: it was the entire point of the experiment, but it made things difficult. Collector said I didn't even know how to save memories, so it took FAR longer for me to learn

L.A.I: Ok. How did you get your name?

Astra: collector never told me how he came up with "Astra", but inku (inkmatas' adopted daughter) told me it means "star" in latin

L.A.I: Ok that’s cool.
