How to improve this drawing by JustAPersonWhosCool — READ THIS WHOLE THING
Ok, so. Stop pressing so hard when you draw the outer edge line. It makes it hard to erase and makes you look like a complete beginner. Try lightly sketching basic shapes and over time you can slightly darken the outer edge line. Also, consider using a ruler and when you’re making circular shapes, just make several, multiple, lots of light, small strokes until you get the perfect shape. And that’s the same with any shape. Also, the top of the plane isn’t flat, right? It’s curved. Upwards curved, or in other words mountain curved. Valley curved is when it’s curved downwards. So, you can shade the top curved to represent that the top of the plane is not flat. When you’re done, make sure you haven’t made any of the lines too dark, so you can go all the lines in pen. Which pen? I recommend the Sakura graphic pens; they’re all pretty good. And finally: the type of paper you’re using. Don’t use regular printing paper. It’s too thin; instead use sketchbook paper. The thicker the better. Ok, so after one week of practicing, post an image in the drawing stream of just send it to me in memechat. I don’t know how to invite you, so just follow me. And when I say practice, I mean PRACTICE. Practice in the train, the bus, the car, every single second your life is being wasted by doing nothing, practice. Send me in a week.
