I feel sorry for you. My parents aren't metalheads, but they accept that I listen to metal. My father listens more to rock bands like Status Quo and The Who and my mom listens to stuff like the Cure and Depeche Mode. My father has a friend who is a metalhead and who went to see Iron Maiden with me. It was super awesome. He's a really nice guy and he always gives me some vinyls to listen to.
I hope that one day you'll get the chance to see Iron Maiden in concert aswell. Up the irons!
Oh yeah, I have the same problem. I can only listen to music with headphones, because it would annoy everbody else in the house. Especially my brothers. Their room is next to my room and they hate metal.
Dude, that sucks. My brothers play video games all the time at a really high volume and they don't even want to close their door. I don't understand why my parents don't complain about that. Meanwhile my mom is to busy telling me that I should tear off that poster with this "ugly monster" on it. (She is referring to the Iron Maiden poster I have hung up in my room.)
Bro, that's so cool! How does your poster look like? Mine is a "The Trooper" poster. Just google it. There are some images of posters that look similar to mine.
