I guess you dont understand weather models, huh? One model could be showing topographical data (Earths contour), meanwhile the bottom model is showing some OTHER DATA.

It is possible the map is showing DROUGHT, OR RELATIVE HUMIDITY, OR AMOUNT OF DUST OR POLLEN in air, along with the temps.
