nah acacia is good if your base is in the desert, otherwise ill gladyl go with oak, spruce, and a little dark oak

that said, Birch can look good if you can design the area around it well but its quite a hard skill to make birch look good

honestly people hate birch only because canman18 does. f**king NPCs, birch is the best for houses imo.

acacia is even worse then that

I like acacia, but I don't uses it. The birch log texture doesn't look the best in my opinion. I mainly just use Oak and Spruce
