How to trigger Sonic fans in Powerscaling/Death Battle debates

Yeah, i used to play both sonic and mario as a child

You have to give them something, Sonic won the first battle between them in Death Battle. But, Mario took the W in the second one.

They mostly just claim untter bullshit like "sOnIc iS An uBeR-HaX BoUnDlEsS OmNi-dImEnSiOnAl oUtErVeRsAl dEiTy" (That's obviously an over-exaggeration of what the angry Sonic fans say in the comments, but I hope you get/understand what I'm trying to say). Two Youtubers named "Might of Gerubah" and "Underrated Underdog" are good examples of this as they try to play Sonic off as this omni-dimensional boundless outerversal god (Might of Gerubah) or the most powerful character in fiction (Underrated Underdog), and they will block you if you try to criticize their bullshit. (I was blocked by Gerubah when I called out and criticized his utter horseshit about Sonic being outerversal)

I know I may get hate from Sonic fans, but Sonic is not this unbeatable being. He can be bested by many people. Stop treating him as an all-powerful deity. He’s just a speedy hedgehog.

People do the same with Mario. He's just a skilled plumber.

Sure they may do, but Mario has a few feats to back it up. And they’re cannon. Sonic has most of his best feats in the Archie Comics, which are non-cannon.

Also, according to Yoshi's Island DS, Mario is one of the Seven Star children, and possesses an extraordinary amount of power.

Sonic feats are backed up too. Plus everything is cannon. But I don't have to use Archie, because many of Sonic feats in games are backed up by sources

Um because it's true? If you use the small robot argument for Sonic, you can literally use the Goomba argument for Mario too
