Global Mods can delete any account, stream or template. Normal users can't delete other's accounts, streams or templates.

They get to practice unfettered censorship on you and your posts and harass users they dislike. Most are responsible arbiters but a couple are off the edge.

Purple M's aren't global mods from what I know of... Purple M's are for developers(?)

I also don't know the advantages that a Global Mod has over a normal user and I've been around for almost 2 years!
