I’m gonna complete this character arc before moving to the Pantalan OC one.

*Gemstone notices them*

*Abyss and Cascade go with you. Crystal, Stormbringer, and Mirage will join you until you reach Sanctuary, that’s a bit far away though*

Cascade: any ideas on where to look?

Crystal: nothing. She’s going to want to disappear off Pyrrhia entirely I’m sure. Hopefully she’s still close by, but I doubt it. She’s got a few hours head start on us.

*just before nightfall*

Blizzard was just outside the city. It might be safe enough for her to fly, but she didn’t want to risk it. She kept running, hoping not to be caught. She didn’t want to hurt anyone else.

She was now afraid of herself and her new power because of what she had done to Crystal and Stormbringer earlier.

Her thoughts were interrupted when a dragon tried to land on top of her. So much for not hurting anyone. At this point, she let her primal instincts take over. Everything else became a blur.

Gemstone: Where should we go first to look?

Crystal: I would say we look around Sanctuary for clues as to where she might have went. *you’re arriving now that it’s nightfall*

Stormbringer: hopefully Mudslide and Inferna are already doing that.

*another seawing flew up, they looked a bit older than Abyss*

???: Thank the moons, we’ve been looking all over for you guys. What in Pyrrhia happened?

Crystal: my sister may have been involved in something she shouldn’t have been.

Mirage: Blizzard and I got offered a contract by Vulture’s gang, or what’s left of it. Blizzard killed him in anger, managed to push Crystal and Stormbringer back by just standing there, and flew off.

???: then we’ve got a big problem.

Gemstone: Did you see Blizzard nearby?

???: no but we recovered another sandwing to the north east of the city. Luckily they’re only unconscious. Defensive wounds all over, looks like Blizzard gave ‘em hell.

Crystal: how do you know it’s Blizzard?

???: icewing blood on him. I don’t think Winter would get into a fight when he knows the queens are coming.

Crystal; of course he wouldn’t.

Abyss: some of us should stay here and figure out what the sandwing knows.

???: that guy isn’t gonna talk. He had one of Vulture’s robes that they all wear.

Stormbringer: it might be too late but it’s worth a shot.

???: Aurora’s following where Blizzard was likely last seen. Seerstriker thinks she’s staying on the ground.

Cascade: how can you be sure?

???: I don’t know how Seerstriker suddenly became an expert on tracking dragons, but from what I can tell, she’s right. It might be why we never saw her leave Sanctuary. She must have flew up and landed in a different part of town and used the crowd as cover.

Gemstone: Maybe if we threaten him we could get him to talk?

???: tough to do when he’s unconscious.

*Stormbringer looks at host Talon and realizes he’s wearing Blizzard’s healing ring. Blizzard must have slipped it on him before she flew off*

Stormbringer: I.. may have an idea. Blizzard gave me her healing ring. I wonder if it could wake a dragon up.

Abyss: I guess we could try. *thinking: “I didn’t enchant it to though.”*

*looks like Stormbringer and Abyss already knew about each other’s secrets. There wasn’t a reaction from Stormbringer. Not like animus magic worked for many dragons now anyway.*

Corruptnight: *thinking* Did she just give a hint that she is an animus?! *he looks at Stormbringer as if he was talking to him*
Gemstone: It could work. Let's try it.

*the thought was clearly meant for Stormbringer. Abyss had no idea you could read minds, he looked scared when he saw you looking at Stormbringer*

Stormbringer: *thinking* Abyss? He was an animus before someone broke animus magic. He enchanted the ring. He can’t use his magic now though.

Corruptnight: *thinking* odd. Me and Gemstone can use ours. I wasn't even in Pantala like she was and I can still use mine.

Cascade: now we need to go find Blizzard. I hope she’s okay..

Crystal:I hope she’s not doing anything crazy right now.

Gemstone: Hope she hasn't gone crazy like Icicle did.

(I actually originally had a whole paragraph where she does, that’s why it took me forever to respond. Ended up deleting it cause I need to go for a sec)

Mirage: then let’s catch her before she does.

Corruptnight: First we need to figure out where she is going.

Blizzard was running, she didn’t know where she was anymore. She was more worried about the gang on her tail right now. She didn’t want to be caught out of the air anyways. Her new power wasn’t helping her. She couldn’t seem to control it and now wasn’t the best time to learn. It’s worse because of the bounty on her head. And now all of Pyrrhia would know who she was, something she desperately wanted to avoid. She couldn’t return to her friends, that would put them more danger.

Blizzard needed to disappear, long enough for everyone to forget she existed. She would need to become a different dragon. Or she had to make Vulture’s gang give up. That would be nearly impossible to take on a gang on her own. She only had one option.

Gemstone: I think we should split up, we should find her quicker.

Mirage: good idea.

Cascade: Abyss and I can join Queen Gemstone. You take Stormbringer and Crystal.

Crystal: hold up. He mentioned you, what the hell were you and Blizzard up to?!

Mirage: I uh…

Stormbringer: don’t try to get out of this one. You’ve been avoiding answering how you knew Blizzard to us too.

Mirage: alright.. to answer Crystal’s question, she got blackmailed. I was there for the first assassination. To answer yours, we actually became friends normally. We just ended up going down a bad road. Blizzard wanted to help your parents have enough money to buy food, so we did what we could. First off jobs around the den, then stealing and selling items. That dragon always told us what to do, he’s how we made extra money. I helped Blizzard some times, I was one of the few dragons she trusted then. We both were quite literally abused.

Crystal: SO YOU WERE A BAD INFLUENCE ON HER.

Mirage: it wasn’t my idea to do any of that! We didn’t know what we would get ourselves into!

Cascade: we’re never gonna find her.

Abyss: I think we’re focused on the wrong topic here.

Seerstriker looked at the body Misty lead them too. The robe marked him as part of Vulture’s gang. The town authorities weren’t doing much to clean up the mess yet, but at least they were investigating.

Seerstriker whispered a question to Misty, “Blizzard did this?”

“I watched her,” she responded.

Mudslide had another question on her mind, she whispered it to Misty as well. “You said he tried to offer her a contract.”

“Yep… he did,” Misty seemed somewhat to be in shock too. Maybe it’s just the moment.

“Sky spirits.. this isn’t good,” Inferna whispered to all of them. “We better go find her before something worse happens.”

Corruptnight: *thinking* What about me???

Stormbringer: *Thinking, knowing you can read minds* I think Cascade assumed you would just go with Queen Gemstone. The two of you are always together, or not that far away from each other.

Cascade: the faster we go, the faster we’ll find her. Now let’s go before we overstay our welcome.

Mirage: we can fight about it later. We’ve got a missing dragon and Vulture’s gang is probably on her tail now that she killed one of their own again.

Crystal: you’re right. Let’s move. *thinking: “I really need to fix when I get angry at someone.”*

*He follows Gemstone*

*Both guards look at each other first. The group is escorted inside the palace*

*Gemstone holds the contract and waits to see Queen Thorn*

Mirage: … I’ve never actually been in the palace myself, it’s beautiful.

Guard A: it’s been changed since Thorn took over. No more enemies’ heads on piles is a nice change. Smells much better too now that there aren’t rotting corpses surrounding the palace.

Gemstone: *sees Thorn in the distance*

Guard A: ah, that’s her now.

*the guard leads the group towards her, the second guard follows from behind*

Gemstone: Queen Thorn. We have something important for you...

Cascade: yeah, it’s very important. *Unsure of what to do*

Thorn: Like what?
*Gemstone hands her the contract. Thorn reads it and looks shocked*

*because no one else ever opened the kill contract, you didn’t know when the damn thing was written. The target was indeed Thorn. The payment was that Vulture’s gang would not harm the dragon, and failure to complete the task would result in them being brought back to Vulture alive to be killed by the gang. The contract was clearly written for someone who was desperate to l protect themselves from Vulture. The contract actually said the it was specifically for a dragon as a punishment due to likely failure, but this part was ruined and hard to read due to the blood from the sandwing getting on the contract. Because Blizzard killed the sandwing who gave her the contract, you don’t really know much else.*

*the rest of the group stood in silence as Thorn read the contract, unsure of what would happen now. Probably someone would be sent to detain whoever wrote it, but at this point you can’t even prove Vulture wrote it.*

Crystal: *thinking: “What’s she going to do when she finds out Blizzard killed our only source of information on this? Or worse, that the contract was offered to her.”*

Gemstone: Queen Thorn, we believe that Vulture is behind this.
Queen Thorn: Thank you for this information, Queen Gemstone. We will discuss this more alone after the meeting.

Mirage: did anyone see where she went?

Stormbringer; I thought she flew east, but we should make sure she isn’t circling around for anything. Hopefully Inferna could catch her if we don’t.

Cascade: I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but Inferna might not be the best one to speak with her.

Abyss: Mudslide is calm enough she could try, but she needs someone she knows and trusts. The best dragon to speak with her is either Crystal or Stormbringer, or Mirage apparently considering what that weird sandwing said. I’m leaning toward Stormbringer based on how Crystal yelled at her earlier.

Cascade: and you.

Abyss: if we want to go down that route, I could try.

Crystal: we need to find her before she either does something drastic or disappears.

Gemstone: The contract giver said something about, Queen Thorn. I thought this would be the best place to start.

Crystal: if I were her, I would avoid this place like it was a plague given what just happened. Besides, I know she always looked up to Thorn, even when she lived in the Scorpion Den. She nearly joined the Outclaws, but I stopped her. Forced my parents to return to the ice kingdom so she didn’t get involved with anything she shouldn’t have. I guess it didn’t matter since I was too late apparently, and I didn’t realize it then, but maybe she tried to join it for safety from Vulture.

Abyss: I grabbed the contract before we left so we can report it. We can’t leave it just lying around.

Mirage: I think we should burn it so we don’t get in trouble. We’re going to be questioned when Queen Thorn finds out.

Stormbringer: which should be the natural reaction of a queen. If she didn’t question us, she would be an idiot.

Mirage: I know, she’ll question us anyways.

Gemstone: I think we should just report it to her.
Corruptnight: *thinking* I think we should, too.

(I deadass can’t rp as Thorn or any of the main characters lmao. I’m gonna mess up how their supposed to act)

Mirage: she does need to know so she can protect herself.

Stormbringer: exactly.

Mirage: last time I saw Vulture, his brain looked like it wasn’t working, so I don’t know how recent that contract is.

Abyss: I can check when we land.

*they land and Gemstone approaches one of the guards* We have errgent news for Queen Thorn.

(Alright)

Guard A: how urgent? She’s a little busy trying to figure out a way to deal with all of the refugees.

Gemstone: Her life depends on it.

*Blizzard and Stormbringer break away from the group to come talk to you now*

Blizzard: oh.. uh..

Crystal: yeah, I’m here too. What’s wrong?

Blizzard: I uh.. *thinking: “I can’t let her know. I especially cannot have Crystal knowing about this.”*

Stormbringer: I don’t know. *he shrugs*

???: long time no see, Blizzard. *you all turned around, a sandwing was approaching the four of you. He was wearing one of the hoods that marked him as a member of Vulture’s gang in the Scorpion Den*

Blizzard did not want this to happen. She didn’t want Crystal to find out this way. But here he is. The dragon that had abused her for his own gain. All of the memories she wanted gone forever came flooding back in to her brain. First all of those jobs he gave her before to help around the market square, some of which were pretty odd for a dragonet. Then all of those jobs he gave her to steal from other dragons, each contract becoming increasingly difficult. And then the worst memory of all, the accidental assassination of a dragon who was a high ranking member of Vultures gang during an escape. Even the blackmail that happened afterwords, because she would surely die if Vulture ever found out. How many dragons did she kill to protect herself from Vulture? It was a secret she and Mirage wanted to take to their graves.

Now Stormbringer was overwhelmed with her thoughts and Crystal was facing the dragon that holds the power to have her entire family killed, if he hadn’t told Vulture already.

“Who in Pyrrhia is this?” Crystal screamed at Blizzard. Blizzard didn’t want to tell her, but either way she was going to find out. She was going to be in trouble with both dragons no matter what.Still, Blizzard hesitated. She couldn’t bring herself to tell her sister.

The other dragons came rushing toward her after Crystal started yelling at Blizzard. Wondering what was happening. As soon as Mirage saw the dragon, he kept his head low. Mirage muttered, “three moons, he found us.”

Crystal: Who in Pyrrhia is this?! *thinking: “what in the three moons did she do?”*

Contract giver: you can just call me a representative of Vulture. And Blizzard has some unfinished business with him.

Crystal: Blizzard..?!

*Gemstone snarls and inhales at the dragon. Only the IceWings know that she is about to attack*

*Blizzard stops you*

Blizzard: this is my mess, let me clean it up. *she steps out in front of the group. Stormbringer tries to follow her but she tells him to back up, she doesn’t want him to get hurt. Mirage pushes his way to the front of the group*

Contract giver: this is unexpected. By all means Mirage, join us.

*Abyss and Misty hold him back*

Mirage: what are you doing? *Almost yelling at them*

Misty: stopping you from doing something stupid.

“What do you want?” Blizzard asked the dragon. Of course he was here to give her and Mirage a contract. Why else would he be there? She stood halfway between him and her friends, standing in the way of any breath attacks that could be used.”

“Because I could not find you in the Scorpion Den, I had assumed you had broken your end of deal. I told Vulture about your little accident. He wasn’t happy, but I told him about your other contracts as well. He sees you as a viable assassin.”

“I will never work for that pathetic excuse for a lizard,” Blizzard interrupted. “I’m not the same dragon I was four years ago.”

The other dragon paused for a second, and saw Crystal trying to approach him as well. “No other dragon approach or Blizzard dies!” He shouted at her. Crystal scowled at him and backed up.

Crystal replied, “one talon on her and I’ll make sure your corpse is unrecognizable.”

“We shall see about that, icewing. Now where was I before the two of you interrupted me? Ah right… that wasn’t where I was going. He has one request.” The menacing sandwing handed her a scroll, Blizzard backed up away from him to read it. Of course, another kill contract. “If you complete it, Vulture will forgive you. If you don’t, every dragon in Pyrrhia will be made aware of the bounty on both of your heads. If it’s important to you, he wants you back alive Blizzard. Mirage on the other talon, he doesn’t give two shits about you.”

Mirage responded, “he’s not going to get either of us.”

*Gemstone redraws her breath and stops. She looks mildly confused*

Blizzard took a second to read the scroll. She was horrified of who she would have to kill. She always looked up to this dragon when she was in the Scorpion Den. “I’m not doing this.”

“You didn’t have a problem with the other eighteen or so contracts, what’s one more to you?”

Blizzard yelled back at him, “I’M NOT KILLING QUEEN THORN!” She quickly backed up and reached into Crystal’s armor plate, pulling out that ancient dagger she kept around. She then threw it as hard as she could at the contract giver’s head. All in a split second.

The contract giver wasn’t ready, Blizzard moved too quick for him to react. It hit the contract giver right between his eyes. He fell to the ground. Then ran towards him and slit his throat with her talons, just to be sure he was dead. Her torment was finally over with Vulture’s mind too far gone from Darkstalker’s spell.

Crystal: great ice spirits! Blizzard what have you done?!

Blizzard: *Blizzard didn’t answer. She didn’t want to kill another dragon ever again, but he she was standing over her new kill. She seemed to be in shock*

*Gemstone just smiles.* *thinking* Anyone from Vulture's little 'gang' deserves to be dead. Especially when they try to kill their own queen.

*Blizzard stands frozen in shock. She knew she would have to do this, but this felt different. This kill felt relieving to her. “No no.. don’t draw me back to this! I’m not a murderer!” She thought. She looked at the kill contract and back at the dead sandwing. It needed to be reported, and Crystal needed her dagger back*

Crystal: Blizzard! Get back here now!

Stormbringer: *a different tactic, he ran towards her whilst in her mind she was having a breakdown.* Are you ok? *Crystal ran after him*

Cascade: … Mirage, he mentioned you.

Mirage: yeah, I know. It looks bad. *he ran to join the two dragons running to Blizzard*

*Blizzard finally started moving again. That dagger needed to be returned to Crystal. She grabbed the dagger’s hilt and pulled it out of the sandwing’s skull. But something in her changed.*

Blizzard grabbed the hilt of the ancient dagger and pulled it carefully out of the contract giver’s skull. But something felt weird.. she felt tingling in her talons. She felt like began to feel overwhelmed, she felt change in herself. She felt afraid of what this might be, she saw Stormbringer running toward her, Crystal too, but their voices were muted to her. Stormbringer seemed to register the fact something was wrong, he tried to get Crystal to stop but Crystal kept charging towards her. Now Stormbringer was right behind Crystal, chasing after her.

The feeling began to grow worse. What was this? She began to feel sick, but that feeling was quickly fading away. The tingling feeling in her talons was beginning to spread thought her body. She was no longer focused on the contract, but on what just happened.

“Stay back!” She yelled at Crystal and Stormbringer, but they were thrown backwards by some unseen force.

Blizzard thought. She looked at her talons with worry. She was now afraid of what she had just done. She looked back at her sister and her boyfriend. Were they okay? She didn’t know. All she knew was she didn’t want to hurt anyone else further. So she took to the skies, afraid of herself and her newfound power.

Blizzard: Stay back!

*Crystal and Stormbringer get thrown back a little, Crystal landed on her back while Stormbringer managed to land on his feet.*

*Blizzard had a look of terror on her face, she was clearly afraid of what she had just done. Corruptnight could read her mind and quickly figure out she didn’t want to hurt anyone else. She quickly flew off to find a place to hide.*

*Gemstone flies after Blizzard. Corruptnight follows her quickly*

*Stormbringer and Crystal quickly follow you*

Mirage: Cascade, go find the others!

Cascade: why do I always have to do this?

*too late, Mirage was already chasing after you*

Misty: it’s alright Cascade, you’ve known her longer than I have. I’ll go get my siblings.8

Abyss: I’ll go find Blizzard with the rest of them.

Misty: good luck.

Abyss: you too.

*Cascade and Abyss parted with Misty to join you. Misty went to go find the other group. Abyss grabbed the contract that Blizzard had left and Cascade and Abyss flew to catch up to you*

*Gemstone flies ahead of the group to hopefully catch her. She takes a detour and leads the group to the castle before Blizzard can get their*

The 1st seawing: I’m Misty. You probably met my sister yesterday. She’s always with that crazy skywing.

*the other seawing just waved like they didn’t notice, or wanted to be noticed. Both seawings were around the same age as Blizzard and most of the group.*

Cascade the rainwing: I hope you guys have a good plan. This mind control stuff sounds really scary.

*Stormbringer sighs, he decides to share his secret to the two of you*

Stormbringer: *via mind reading connection to both Gemstone, Corruptnight, and Blizzard accidentally: “alright, you got me on the first time you saw me. I can read minds. I’m not great, it’s hard to control, but I can manage. I don’t like it when other dragons know so that’s why I ignored you that day. That’s not important right now. Did either of you feel another sandwing’s presence? One waiting —— the right moment ——?” He lost the connection, but the general message was there. He clearly didn’t want you to actually say anything related to that out loud. He did seem inexperienced with that aspect of the mind reading ability. (No idea if a Nightwing can communicate like that to a non-Nightwing with their mind reading. I’m just assuming they can due to how Darkstalker communicated with Moon)*

Blizzard: *in her mind: “Oh no...” She looked a little sick now, but she quickly regained her composure. She was beginning to let a few memories slip. None of them made sense. All of them took place in the Scorpion Den. She met a sandwing in the square that offered to give her a job. Blizzard was young, she couldn’t have been more than 2 or 3 years old. She figured she would make extra money for her family. In the next few memories, the dragon she met began receiving scars, probably from either joining a gang or fighting one. Jobs quickly became more bizarre, the last one Corruptnight was able to see was a contract to steal a ring from a dragon. It was minor, but still weird. From there, she was able to suppress everything, once more.*

Blizzard: *now speaking* Yeah.. Cascade has a point. I wonder how we’re going to deal with that if that other queen invades Pyrrhia..

Corruptnight: I can feel the presence, yeah.
Gemstone: Yes.

Crystal: what are you guys talking about?

*Stormbringer facepalms thinking: “you guys weren’t supposed to say it out loud.” This forces Crystal to look at him suspiciously.*

Blizzard: *trying to salvage Stormbringer’s attempt* could we maybe speak to you privately right now? I’m sure you’re very busy with the meeting coming up.

*this made the entire group look at Blizzard oddly, considering they knew she was already worried about something and felt that she was acting a bit off*

*Corruptnight: *thinks* Sorry.
Gemstone: *is silent*

*the other seawing came up alongside Blizzard, this must be Abyss*

Abyss: Blizzard, if your problem is serious enough that you need to speak to the queen, maybe we can help you. *he seemed genuinely considered. He’s wondering: “is it something personal? I’m just hoping she’ll be okay.”*

Blizzard: *thinking: “that’s the thing, no one can.”* it’s nothing really. I just wanted to talk to her.

Stormbringer: *to Blizzard: “we all want to help you.”*

Blizzard: *thinking: “I know, I just don’t want you to get hurt.” Her tail intertwined with Stormbringer’s again*

Cascade: I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m worried for you. *thinking: “I bet she thinks someone’s following us. Maybe I should take a look around and see if I find them.”*

Blizzard: again, it’s nothing, I just want to speak with my Queen.

Gemstone: *cuts in* And it is perfectly fine if she wants to. I'm not really busy a lot until the time comes for, "The Wall."

Blizzard: thank you. I appreciate it. *trying not to sound to relieved or panicked. Thinking: “Stormbringer, you should join us. You thought of the idea first.”*

Stormbringer: *Back to Blizzard (Corruptnight could read this as well): “I’ll have your back. I think I have an idea anyway.”* You guys mind if I tag along?

*Cascade looked surprised at this, she wanted to join them but figured she shouldn’t. Crystal however, didn’t like that she was being left out.*

Crystal: hey, she’s my sister. If she has a problem, it’s also my problem. *she’s a little over protective of her younger sister. Blizzard didn’t want her to come with the 4 of you, you weren’t sure why.*

*she follows Crystal*

Crystal: is it alright if I join my sister when she speaks to you?

*she nods* Of course.

Sandwing Grunt: I don’t know, maybe they just convinced him he could use her as an assassin himself. Maybe he was just angry and wasn’t thinking. I have no clue, and don’t tell him I said any of this.

Gemstone: I would kill him before anyone else knew. *Corruptnight shits her with his wing for being dark for a moment* What?

Sandwing Grunt: wait, please don’t— you mean Vulture right? Please tell me you mean him.

Cascade: I think she means Vulture.

gemstone: Oh yeah. I mean Vulture. Dang scum deserves it. *Corruptnight hits her again with his wing* Fine! I'll quit being dark!

Crystal: … *she was about to knock him out again*

Sandwing Grunt: I just want out of his gang. Please, just spare me.

Barracuda: calm down, no one’s killing anyone just yet.

Cascade: we’re losing time. We better go.

Gemstone: *she nods and flies off*
(Everytime I see Cascade I think of the soap pods)

*this is where the group splits up. Abyss and Cascade follow you while Barracuda goes to retrieve everyone else. Stormbringer, Crystal, and Mirage formed their own group and went off their own way*

*Gemstone heads in the direction that Blizzard was last seen*

Epilogue:

Aurora: you sure you know what you’re doing?

Seerstriker: relax. If she stayed on the ground, she couldn’t have gone that far.

Barracuda: I don’t think she went this way.

Seerstriker: the dead sandwing says otherwise.

The dead sandwing was in the middle of the forest. He had a bag on him, so Seerstriker searched it. She found a bounty was out on Blizzard. Lots of gold and emeralds were being offered. And of course she was to be returned to this Vulture dragon Seerstriker had never heard of before.

Seerstriker: I think things just got worse.

Barracuda: well that was obvious, I assume it’s for killing one of his gang members and not actually about this contract that the others are talking about.

Sandwing Grunt: I’ll be fine.

Sandwing Grunt: *no hesitation on lying* she went southeast towards the mountain range.

Stormbringer: Blizzard are you alright?

Crystal: you’re acting strange, more on edge than usual.

Blizzard: I’m fine. It’s just—

The rainwing: even when there is danger, I’ve never seen you this nervous or scared.

Blizzard: *thinking: “I hope that wasn’t him.. please.. I can’t let them find out!”* Just nervous because of the crowd. *she laughed it off*

*Stormbringer looked at her worryingly*

Gemstone: Hello.

Blizzard: erm.. Hi. *she was trying to suppress her thoughts knowing Corruptnight and Stormbringer could read minds. This was noticeable to both Stormbringer and Corruptnight.*

Crystal: good afternoon your majesty.

*both Stormbringer and you felt the presence of a sandwing nearby (not mirage) waiting for you to leave*

*the rainwing seemed to be more worried about Blizzard and didn’t respond, she was distracted*

Gemstone: *she shakes at the thought that a SandWing is waiting for her to leave. She nods her head and Corruptnight walks over*

*Barracuda takes you to the unconscious sandwing, the current doctor took Vulture gang cloak off of him and it’s sitting on a table next to him. Looks like he had a dagger that was still sheathed*

*Gemstone takes the dagger away from him so he wouldn't stab her*

*he seemed to be already stirring, they looked like a dragon just older than Stormbringer, so Crystal held him down by the neck, surprising him*

???: woah woah, Crystal stop your hurting him!

Crystal: shut up Barracuda. *she takes the dagger from you and holds it under his neck* What do you know about Blizzard *she yelled*?

Sandwing Grunt: huh..? Hey wait! We can—

Crystal: ANSWER THE QUESTION!

Sandwing Grunt: was that the icewing dragonet I saw earlier? I have no clue what’s going on anymore.

*she holds Crystal back* Calm down, Crystal. *she turns to the dragon* I am sorry about her. Can you tell us anything about Blizzard?

Sandwing Grunt: if that was the dragonet I saw, they looked distressed. I tried to stop them but I think they interpreted that I was attacking her. I struck first so I guess it was my fault. Wanted to talk to them, make sure they were alright you know? *they look worryingly at Crystal*

Mirage: what’s a dragonet like you doing in Vulture’s gang?

Sandwing Grunt: work. I want to leave but once you’re in, there’s no backing out I guess. Would have joined the Outclaws instead but they had already left the Scorpion Den. Later I heard Thorn became Queen.

Crystal: Mirage, that was irrelevant.

Mirage: sorry, had to ask.

Crystal: *she sighs* which way did they go?

Sandwing Grunt: they were heading north east towards the forest. Weird how they weren’t flying.

*Gemstone nods* Thank you for this information on Blizzard.

*Crystal lets go of them*

Crystal: by any chance is there a bounty on them?

Sandwing Grunt: I haven’t heard of any. Why?

Stormbringer: *thinking* should we show them the contract?

Corruptnight: *thinking back to him* Yes. we should.

*Stormbringer grabs the contract and gives it to Crystal*

Crystal: this is why we’re asking.

*the sandwing looked at the contract*

Sandwing Grunt: … this was issued a little before I joined. I don’t know much else other than that it was for a specific dragon and possibly as a punishment. Heard they never tracked her down though.

Crystal: …

Sandwing Grunt: I won’t say anything if that was her just then.

Stormbringer: are we talking days?

Sandwing Grunt: probably around the time I joined, just after Thorn became Queen. Though most of us forgot about it since it wasn’t meant for us. Besides, who takes on a queen so openly? Vulture is normally much smarter than that and I think someone else convinced him to write it.

Gemstone: *thinks for a minute* Who could be so powerful or so shady that could actually tell Vulture to do something and him do it?
