Durham report proved people defending Biden's Ukraine corruption lied...

Durham is a joke. His probe warranted a nothing-burger of massive... well. Minimal proportions I suppose. Durham was only able to secure a guilty plea against former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who was singled out for altering an email that was used to justify a government wiretap application for Trump aide Page.

His two other cases were less successful.
“We charged Mr. [Michael] Sussmann with having knowingly provided false information to the FBI regarding Alfa Bank,” Durham said to Rep Johnson.

Last year, a jury in Washington, DC, acquitted Clinton’s former campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann on charges he lied to the FBI when he met with the bureau in September 2016 to share a tip about possible communications between Trump’s business and a Russian bank.

Sussmann was acquitted at trial last year, along with Igor Danchenko, a key source for ex-MI6 spy Christopher Steele’s infamous dossier.

Former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith also pleaded guilty in August 2020 to having falsified documents to renew a surveillance warrant on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

As for the FBI?

The FBI has said it has already implemented a series of reforms to address issues with the department’s 2016 probe, including steps meant to ensure the accuracy of secretive surveillance applications.

The department also stressed that the report focused on the FBI’s prior leadership, before current Director Christopher Wray took the job in 2017.

“Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in the report could have been prevented. This report reinforces the importance of ensuring the FBI continues to do its work with the rigor, objectivity, and professionalism the American people deserve and rightly expect,” the FBI said in a statement.

As for Hunter Biden?

That one guy who does not serve in any capacity in the White House, while Ivanka, Kushner and Jr. all served to the white house and made business deals while doing so? The report mentions nothing that can be pursued Not only this, but Hunter wasn't even within the scope of the probe - to DURHAM'S ADMISSION.

“We didn’t investigate Mr. Hunter Biden,” when Rep Johnson asked him about this subject he said "We didn't investigate Mr. Hunter Biden."

Is there something I'm missing? Because I think I've covered all the bases.

The job of law enforcement is not to investigate people in search of a crime. The job of law enforcement is to investigate known crimes.

What about them?

The only difference between Mueller's investigation and Durham's is Mueller refused to bring charges where he couldn't prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and Durham did.

How many indictments were made from the Mueller investigation? How much dirty money was found? Durham didn't negate nor nullify the Mueller report. One could frame it as "seeking confirmation bias" among the FBI, I call it probable cause, which is legal. The probable cause being when Trump said in 2016: "Russia, if you're listening, find those emails."

The law doesn't care whether or not you were joking when you say you are going to bomb a hospital. The law doesn't care if you are joking when you yell fire in a theatre. And certainly, the law doesn't care if you're jokingly asking Russia as a Presidential candidate to find dirt on your political opponent. This was a clearly worded message as a request, if made melodically to an audience chanting "Lock her up."

Comey, Mueller and Schiff all knew the Russian collusion story was fiction concocted by Hillary and the DNC. So I guess it is ok for law enforcement, as well as House impeachment committees, to investigate crimes made up by political opponents?

So you don't understand the fourth amendment and how it applies to probable cause. Understood, here's a "45" second video on probable cause.

Second, you haven't even read the Durham report either. I can understand not reading Mueller, but you're not even spewing confirmation bias, you're repeating politician talking points. Durham said in his report that the FBI were obligated to investigate. At most, there was some confirmation bias and some lies, but they ultimately didn't change the scope and depth of what the Mueller probe found.

This agents were already disciplined before Durham got to them. Like I said, it was a nothing burger.
