If it makes you feel better a lot of the Old Testament laws were discarded when Jesus came to save sinners including this one. The reason why for this is instead of man putting man to death, after they die, God will deal with them personally.

Jesus came to fulfill the law. Meaning we don’t have to abide by it perfectly all the time to have a place in heaven, which is the way it used to work.

You should try to follow the laws as best you can I think might be a better wording. You can make mistakes, and ask for forgiveness. The way you worded it kinda made it feel like “yeah I can sin but it’s no biggie”.
But that’s just what I think

Sin is bad, yea. But Jesus came so that asking for forgiveness wouldn’t require all of the sacrificial offerings, the priestly red tape, etc. Jesus came because he knew we could not abide by the law fully all the time. And sure, there’s a lot of good stuff in there that you should follow, but at the same time, making a mistake is not as huge a deal anymore as long as you go to the Father and ask for his forgiveness

I think most Christians blow the anti lgbt thing out of proportion. The Bible also says that it is God’s kindness that leads us to repentance. I don’t think beating someone over the head with how wrong they are is going to help them accept Christ

It’s a hassle. We are weaker, and have a bunch of wild hormones and have to deal with men

Fair, but men have struggles too. Our hormones make us horny for no apparent reason, we don’t understand women either, and there’s the added bonus of you have to be careful about what you say and do otherwise you can get accused of pretty serious stuff and it’s cause you’re a dude.

Example: a woman is walking through the park with a girl screaming and trying to pull away. What would you assume? Most people assume it’s a girl throwing a tantrum at her mother. Now a man is walking through the park, pulling a screaming girl behind him, what’s the assumption now?

In the Bible, it was punishable by death. I believe that Jesus died on the cross so that they can repent, but that still illustrates how severe of a sin it is. I have a couple lgbt people I’m chill with, and I hope someday that can turn into something good.

I never said it was as black and white as gay = death.
I think everyone deserves a chance to repent of their sins. The point I’m trying to make isn’t that gay people deserve death, but rather that it is a serious sin. Even more concerning is that it’s being promoted this strongly.

Gay = happy, happy = smile, smile = moving your lips, lip movement = gay...
