The fetus is barely alive until the second trimester. It’s barely more than a parasite, which is what it would be classed as.
And no, it’s not the pain of childbirth.
It’s the fact that raising a child is insanely difficult and not for everyone.

Many kids who went through foster care or other adoption agencies say they wished their mother had aborted. Unless you are in a really good foster family or adoption home, it’s not the way it’s shown in movies.
