Members of juries are not blank slates. Each and every member has biases and opinions on wide varieties of subjects. You are not required to abandon your beliefs. You are required to decide if the Prosecution has proved, beyond a "reasonable," doubt that the defendant did what they are accused of. You can believe 100% that they did it. But, if the Prosecution does not deliver the proof, you have to be able to find the defendant not guilty. I did just that once. So, I know that it isn't easy, but it is the right thing to do.
