Registered independent for over 28 years here. I didn't vote for BO, though, I don't hate him. Without getting so deep explaining my position on GW or CC, I'll say Venus is an excellent example of what can happen if greenhouse gases aren't reduced. It's 850 degrees fahrenheit and it's almost twice as hot as Mercury which happens to be much closer to our star. Yes, naturally occurring mechanisms can, have, & still do raise and drop the average temp. The older the Sun gets, the hotter it gets. But those aren't the things we should be using as argument points. All of those things shouldn't be happening over 70 to100 year stretches. If it was nature only, it would take much much longer. What we are doing is speeding up some of these otherwise, "natural" events.
Either way, Libs are in bed with big Insurance companies so I imagine that has more to do with BO buying any property that might be underwater. Besides, the majority of damage probably won't happen until he's long gone.
