Ok you're right, I'm sorry.
So there are two sexes, right? Male (XY) and Female (XX), and these two sexes are necessary for procreation and make up the vast majority of the world population. However, it isn't exactly black and white. In the womb, every fetus technically starts out female, and will usually either stay female or turn male. However sometimes there are complications that happen during pregnancy that affect either the chromosomes or genitilia of the fetus, and this is what I mean by intersex. Chromosome sets of 3 like XXY can happen along with many more combinations. It can also mean that somebody who appears to be female as a child may have XY chromosomes which cause complications during puberty (ex never growing breasts) and this also happens vice versa for males.
Basically, when a person has chromosomes other than XX or XY, or their genitals appear different from their chromosomes, that's intersex.
What I meant with the ginger thing is that the chances of being intersex are just about a common as having red hair. Hope that helps, and I'm sorry for lashing out. Very rough week.
