geography - okay we do need this because of americans, but otherwise? google maps
other languages - even if google translate is fairly crappy (atleast that means it's meme-worthy) there's like a dozen others out there, surely ONE of them will work
drama - yeah, there's too much of it. and if you wanna act or something, then let us take an optional class for it something, no need to force it onto random kids which includes introverts like me who almost get a heart attack when a crowd of only four people is looking at them

i'm the only one who's saying this- downvote if you want- but based off what i know from my 1st year of german, and also what my german teacher said, is that translate isn't that accurate. hot take, but my perspective on it.

even with german, already a major language, it has problems with long chained sentences or obscure/dialect words... just imagine what it's like with harder languages (e.g. japanese or any other asian language, only as an example, don't take this as offensive)
that said, at least it's meme-able to death and sometimes actually >funny< (if someone doesn't know, look up the youtuber Random Typek... you're welcome)

Tech: we use tech every day

Math-Using calculators is useless, since you cannot actually memorize the concept and you won't always have a calculator on you. And before you say phones, you won't be able to use your phone in a test.
English- We do speak it, but it's important to memorize how to use proper grammar and spelling.
Science-We think we know how the world works, but in reality many fascinating and/or terrifying new things are being discovered about this wonderful world as you are reading this.
History-Even if they are dead, it is important to learn about how and why they died, as well as read their story to have something interesting to read about, as well as to learn more about the wars and such to learn how to prevent future wars.
Geography-Yes, we DO live on earth, but does that mean that we know everything about it? No! And geography won't teach us EVERYTHING about earth, but it's important to learn at least SOME THINGS about it.
Languages-Google translate isn't fully accurate.
Drama-it isn't that type of drama, it's more of acting in a play or show or something, which could help improve teamwork skills.
