It means that instead of just going on with their lives and enjoying the freedoms that they already have, they go out of their way to agitate the American public with their agenda and then do their damndest to cancel those that won’t put up with their bullshit.

like you 'gave' them their freedoms? silly man. the lgbt community had to fight tool and nail just to not die at the hands of bigots and bigoted systems. from police violence to healthcare systems and stigmas to homophobic churches and beyond... the lgbtq system shouldnt got to this place BY agitating and forcing people to see them. why the eff would they fade into the background now?
