Sad, sad, sad..

I agree that this is a sad turn of events. I wish that all the evidence listed in the indictment could disappear. No matter how much I disagree with his politics, I do not want to see him in jail. Unfortunately, in this case alone, the charges could result in his incarceration for the remainder of his life. And the Jan 6 case hangs over his head. He has been in court over one matter or another most of his adult life. It almost seems like he is playing a game with accelerating levels of difficulty. I really would not care, except for the way this has torn at the fabric of what used to be a contentious, but civil, and productive political system. I am an optimist. I know that people will choose real good over demonstrable evil after all is said and done. Peace, America.
