May I answer as well? Sorry if this is a long one.
When I was younger I really liked drawing and stuff, but I wasn't good at drawing humans, so I drew animals instead. I still wanted to draw stuff like normal people, so I just made animals with human characteristics, like standing in two legs and talking English. After many years I found out about Furries and stuff, so I was like "Holdup... They do what I do or sum??", so I became as well. I had made myself a Fursona like, a long while ago (yes, before I knew furries existed). I called 'em Fenix and they were a wolf (because I really liked wolves these days because of how well I was able to draw them). Many years passed on and I managed to update it like... 4 times. Now it is a goofy little fella which I like to draw for fun. I don't really know if I identify as it or not, since I made it have many similarities with me and even hang out with other Fursonas I made of my friends. But afterall, it's just a character I like to draw and stuff.
