I remember making that rule. But it only dealt with other "factions" trying to use MSmg to "recruit soldiers".
We made a point about disapproving every such posts.

Unfortunately, there was no rule to prevent MSmg from starting conflicts elsewhere.

We still don't support anyone bringing outside conflicts here. It would be better if everyone understands boundaries and the line between trolling and harassment, so we don't have to imperatively ban every post linking to another stream.

I try to keep the rules as light to swallow as possible.
Currently, most users don't understand very basic etiquette and their very common excuse for that is "This is MSmg".

Every time, we're eventually forced to make a rule banning a very obviously harmful activity. Look at the AttentionToAlts rule for example.

we need to add a "use common sense" rule
"think before you post. are you harassing someone? even if it's a joke, do you think it could be considered harassment?"

Alternative: Get the hell away from Imgflip and enjoy the one life you were given
