A lot of the culture war people have been oddly quiet about Across the Spiderverse. I wonder why.

If she had been white from the beginning, nobody would’ve said a go***mn thing. You’re the ones who made this about race, not the Left.

If some African fairy tale written by an African with Africans as the lead roles were changed to whites, you'd be the first to have a conniption. Why can't new stories be made instead of rebooting everything and race swapping?

The left has been making things all about race for decades so 1-800-555-givemeabreak

Wait, what do you think is the problem with a black Spider-Man or a female Spider-Man? I don’t have anything against black people or women! I think they’re great, even if it is a little weird to say it like that. As in, it’s weird to say, “oh yeah that’s great” like I’m defending something. I don’t even have any problems with gay people, when they don’t get too weird about it lol

It kinda seems like you’re assuming things about the right. I know you were specifically talking about that group, but hey, they don’t perfectly represent every single conservative!

I’m not assuming anything, I’m just pointing out a very clear discrepancy in the Right’s long well-documented behavior.

This kind of comes back to when I said: “that group doesn’t necessarily represent the entirety of the right”
It isn’t woke for there to be black people or women. Maybe a little bit woke to have a gay person. I haven’t seen the movie, so I don’t know to what degree they pushed or emphasized that, but even still it’s not objectively wrong for there to be queer people! They’re kinda just a part of life right now! In media it’s exaggerated how much of the population is actually this way, which is the part I don’t like!

I’m done rambling now, I hope you understand my meaning

You go ahead and define woman, then I think you can talk.

So black Spider-Men are okay, but black mermaids are where you draw the line. Interesting.

As long as they pick a good actor I don’t care what race, sexuality, political affiliation, favorite flavor of fruit snack, or any other thing they use to divide the country and the people.

When did I say I didn’t like the black little mermaid

They know better than to boycott something people actually like.

That never enters into it when Democrat cult members cancel culture and dox people to destroy them.
