ok so here's what i have so far. i'm still an amateur i think, but here's basic tips.
1. don't redraw a frame unless you absolutely have to. try rendering it and copy and pasting it
2. sketch out the basic movement and anatomy BEFORE drawing, then put it into a group layer, and then do the lineart and coloring on different blank layers within that group
3. DEFINITLEY USE smudge frames for big movements and tweening if you absolutely need to
4. don't use a paintbucket ALL the time you should color beneath the lineart on a new layer because then if you want to add effects like bloom, HSB and others, it won't affect the primary layer
5. it takes LOTS of time and patience, so don't expect to be a master at it instantly.
6. if you are drawing flowing hair/other things leave the stationary layer alone and redraw it on each frame.
