Stardust re-established some of the power by adding electricity to the building using her powers.
Ivy: “you’re such a strange dragon, how did you know what to do?”
Stardust: “I’m reading what the screen is telling me, the building needs more electricity to function properly.”
Mirage: “let’s not get into a dangerous situation, we don’t know what’s in this building.”
Stardust: “let me pull up the schematics for the building real quick.”
Mirage: “I can’t read anything that’s on this.. whatever it is.”
Stardust looked at the screen, sure enough the blueprints were there.
Stardust: “there’s nothing major, just a few security camera that were already activated when we came in. I didn’t do much. Otherwise minimal security, there are supposed to be some guns on the outside but those are all destroyed. The last log says there was a battle here.”
Mirage: then let’s get out before we’re killed by whoever lives here. I don’t know what a gun is, but by the way you said it was part of a defense system or whatever you called it, it sounds like it could kill us.”
Stardust: “it can if it was operational, but it no longer is. Two more seconds.”
Finally she pulled up the location. The log said something about a Nuclear Wasteland. That sounded familiar, and wherever she was was starting to feel familiar too, besides the buildings. One thing’s for sure, this clearly wasn’t Pyrrhia, and they needed to fund their way back before another storm approaches or something worse finds them.
Stardust: “alright, let’s go. Back the way we came”
Mirage: “but the coast is west!”
Stardust: “on Pyrrhia it is, but I have no idea where we are. We need to get out of here as fast as possible.”
Mirage: “this doesn’t make any sense.”
Stardust: “it’s not making sense to me either, let’s go. Before something dangerous happens.”
The others went to the garage. She looked back at the terminal, then smashed it with her paw and drained the building’s electricity.
Ivy: “hurry up, let’s go. I have a tribe to meet.”
Stardust: “just draining the building’s electricity for my own energy. I’m ready.”
With Stardust’s advice, they flew back east as fast as they could. Eventually they found the spot where they had crossed over into another world, and the window to go back was slipping away. The change in landscape was much more obvious as this “portal” was closing. The group barely made it back through before it closed.
