I feel like if it wasn't used in rap music, if everyone was allowed to say it freely, within two years you'd probably hear it as much as you hear the word "cantaloupe"
Because society needs it. When you mock something, you take away its power, and too many people nowadays are letting a stupid word dictate their life. No one's gonna get hurt or die if you say it.
