Procedural questions often require judges to "take sides." Many people, including her supervisors, felt Judge Cannon's support of the Trump attorneys' request for a "Special Master," was too broad. She leaned too far in making things fair for one party to the detriment of the other. On appeal her ruling was reversed, and she received a legal "wrist slapping." Her work has been done without controversy, since that time. It is true that she is a conservative and was appointed by Trump. Ultimately, this case will be decided by 12-citizens, based on the evidence as presented by the Special Prosecutor and defended against by Trump's lawyers. If she displays measurable bias during the trial, it will likely end her career. But. her supervision of the proceedings will remove any suggestion of a "Liberal Bias," by all but the most extreme critics.
