After all of that and he got to safety, he searched the hospital part of the Nexcon facility, and they had no painkillers, only something to stop the bleeding. He then had to continue on with his wounds, while trying to hide from terrifying monsters

Cory ran as fast as he could, being half-asleep and not knowing what else to do. he just wanted the noise to stop.
and then... it did.
he looked around and saw the corpses of all the friends he had made.

he lost everything that day.
