Downvote counter should already be a thing.
otherwise its completely pointless.

I currently use it as a bookmark since you can go back and see memes you've downvoted.

this would literally be the PERFECT compromise/balancing option for those who want the downvote counter back, and for those who don't want it back and always say "a lot of people will leave from getting offended"
