We are the party of two genders… real science.
Your party is the party of genital mutilation and denial.

Senior U.S Judge Robert Hinkle, after hearing expert testimony and reviewing all the evidence presented, ruled that "Gender Identity is real, temporarily blocking the radical GOP religion based law denying medical care to people who are neither all male nor all female. In the absence of an objective test to determine gender identity, medical experts rely on subjective information. The AMA recommends that Doctors trust that their patients' input is correct concerning their own gender.

For the record I am male, physically and in my gender identity. Twenty years ago, before I retired from the VA, my office was next to a Psychologist who specialized in counseling Trans-Gender Veterans. I met and talked with many of them in or shared waiting area. To a person, they felt as if they were "mistakes." They were "women trapped in men's bodies." Many said that surgery and hormones saved their lives. I developed sympathy for them and gratitude for being spared their biological difficulties and the bigotry and hatred that "being different," attracts from some quarters.

That, Larry, is total bullshit.
There MIGHT have been a Section 8 candidate,
a la Maxwell Klinger, trying to get out of being sent to the sand box…but to tell us that “many lives were saved by trans surgeries and hormones is just so much of your bullshit.

These were Veterans. Thay had all served. Many saw combat. I guess it is OK for you to personally attack me. But, please do not insult people who served their country, even as an extension of your venomous statements about me. They deserve your respect, not your derision.

I have not personally attacked you, Larry. Stop it.
I am merely expressing my disbelief in what you say. It is unbelievable.

Calling my recounting of a personal experience, which you were not party or privy to "bullshit," is a personal attack.

Not part of? Bullshit… I served in the Army and never, not once did I in my six years encounter anyone remotely as you have described.
Not privy to?? You constantly tell EVERYONE your personal experiences. You made me privy to it when your replies consist of your personal experiences.

I just don’t believe you.
That is not a personal attack on you.

I was in the Army for a shorter period than you. And I never met a trans person, that I know of. In fact, I have met only one trans person in my life, other than those I met at the VA. I believe that they are not as common as one might think.

As far as I know, you never took part in any of the conversations I had with Trans Vets. So you were not a party or privy to them.

Why was it so hard to say that you don't believe me? OK. You don't believe me. Based on contradicting facts or other information or because you don't like what I say?

I did tell you that I didn’t believe you. You just overlooked it and went straight to being offended.

Again, I haven’t insulted you or any veterans.
Calling your comments bullshit is now considered venomous?

Now it's a state legislation issue instead of being forced on everyone by some 1970s judge. This is how America works. Get congress to legalize abortion on demand federally if that's what you want.

Justice Frankfurter was chosen to take the lead on Roe vs Wade, because he had studied medicine before deciding on a career in law. He understood the medical science information better than his peers. In the end, his judicial opinion put an end to the politicizing of women's reproductive care, until the current court re-opened that can of worms.

The “can of worms” that was opened by the current court… was originally canned by Justice HotDog.
If it were truly a “medical issue”, why did the court bend over backwards and twist itself into a knot by grasping at the “right to privacy” part of the Constitution in order to claim that abortion is a Constitutional right, when it clearly is an issue that falls into the 10th amendments arena?

The 10th Amendment was written to deal with powers not delegated to the United States. Many states try to suspend Women's Constitutionally guaranteed rights in order to force their religion-based laws on their personal medical decisions. In other words, you can't use the safeguard against Federal Government incursion into people's lives by granting power to states to do just that. Talk about twisting laws into pretzels!

Point out Artlcle, section, and clause in the Constitution where that is covered and delegated to the Federal government, Larry.

The Bible has been the basis for most of the world’s laws, Larry…whether you like it or not.
The fundamental objection to abortion is based on the 6th Amendment.
Are you now saying that we should allow murder because the Bible outlawed it?
And theft? Oh, wait… our government is allowing that to occur with no ramifications for the thief.

No pretzels involved.

Read Roe vs Wade. It is all in there.

The 6th Amendment deals with the rights of accused criminals. A mass of tissue that has not become a human yet, only has "rights" when you superimpose your religious beliefs onto others. In doing so, you violate their First Amendment rights to freedom of religion.

Yes. I have. But it was a ruling based on false premises, the current court delegated the issue back to where it belongs, to the States.

I said the Sixth Amendment, when clearly I fumbled when I went to type Commandment, the one “Thou Shall Not Murder”.
An honest mistake seeing as how the two texts are intertwined in this conversation.

Now, show me the Article, Section, and clause that gives women the Constitutional right to murder their baby.

No one has the right to murder a baby. But, aborting a fetus is not that act. The Constitution's framers clearly agree with me. The rights of Citizenship are conveyed to people "born" here. Other references to place of birth are noted. Citizenship is not conveyed to a fetus or even a baby days or hours before their birth. If "Citizenship" started with conception you would have a stronger case.
1 up, 3y
Show me where…you keep claiming that it a Constitutional right… so show me where in the Constitution it gives women the right to abort their fetus.
Put up or shut up, Larry.
Now, why are you trying to conflate this issue with citizenship and immigration, Larry?
You are flailing, Larry. Clearly the act of frustration.
Not a good look.

Fun Fact... Baby Roe lived... another fun fact... the plaintive regrets being plaintive... said they were misled into bringing that case... and one more... RBG said the decision was flawed...
