Hi there! You probably just heard this from your conservative parents or something. But I just want to tell you, it's okay.
When you are young, you are simply a product of your environment. You mirror the behaviors of those around you, and when those around you are assholes, that's just how you assume is how to act.
It's okay, it's not your fault. When I was 11, I was "homophobic" because that's what I thought I was supposed to do. I didn't know what any of it meant.
I hope you decide to research and educate yourself about the history of pride month, and grow as a person rather than remaining ignorant.
