Elaborate. What do you mean? Do your parents provide for you? Do they want the best for you? Do they love you? I assume they do, and even if their methodology is off, you should be thankful.

I'm not even kidding, they literally not only expect me to keep my door unlocked all the time, but they also want my door to be OPENED FULLY 24/7 too. And they yell at me if I even close my door for 3 minutes. Tbh I'm starting to think they're narcissistic pieces of shit that only care about themselves, because whenever I do something that somehow breaks their bullshit "rules" even if it's so minor that literally any sane person would not give a shit, they literally throw a huge-ass pissy fit about it and won't stfu about their feelings. And by "won't stfu about their feelings" I literally mean that they wont stfu about their feelings so much that it's to the point where you would think that they think that the world revolves around them and everyone should care if they have a tummy-ache. It's really annoying to me tbh.

So you've been alienated from your parents because of rules that seem opressive and arbitrary to you?
The rules that seem arbitrary to you are often not. I'm going to go and assume that you're not very polite to your parents, based on the way you speak here. If you perhaps treated them with more respect (however abhorrent that might be to you), you might be able to ask them why certain rules are in place.
I don't entirely believe the latter part, but if it's true that your parents will only talk about themselves, then that's an issue. Perhaps in a polite manner you could speak to them? Perhaps you could talk to a school counselor or your friends parents about that?

Tbh I feel like my parents are just narcissists. Like, if they hurt my feelings they'll just say "Grow up and stop whining" but if I do something that somehow hurt THEIR feelings, they throw a huge fit about it. Heck, they even SHAMED me once for having emotions. And they have a rule that you're only allowed to eat at the table, but for some reason it only applies to me. They eat in the living room, their own bedroom, etc. and it's fine, but I take a bag of chips in my room and it's a big issue according to them. I feel like it'd be better if we continued this in memechat. I followed you to make it easier.

yeah thats a massive W as well as basic common sense but unfortunately my family doesnt have basic common sense and after treating me like shit for my entire life my grandparents get all pissy when I don't treat them like gods because they for some reason think they're entitled to everything

Narcissists are the worst type of people because no matter how much you try to reason with them, they are always going to believe that they are right. They don’t sound like they are worth your time or effort whatsoever. No even mentioning the fact that your grandparents are entitled enough to believe that they have control over someone they ( probably ) didn’t even raise.

Unfortunately they did raise me, at least 80% of my life was spent living at their house. I still feel like the fact they raised me still gives them no control over my life.
