Thanks to media outlets and the GOP letting these blue cities stuff the ballots, we all get to follow suit.

Now, “President” Maduro has made copies of zoo animal recipes for the new communist country diet coming soon. “President” Daniel Ortega is giving real estate advice on how to sell your property to the People’s Republic of China after the Nicaraguan government signed a lucrative memorandum of understanding with a telecommunications company from China to fund and build an inter-oceanic canal that is said to rival the Panama Canal.

Forget Pilates and the gym, you can lose weight in collective farm and forced labor project plans put forward by The People’s Republic of Vietnam!

The best part about all these transitions to communist ideas is that government officials get to decide them for you!"

The GOPe just authorized the targeting of their voters by the IRS and FBI. The bullshit hearings on the weaponization of government are a joke. When it comes down to it, they HATE their voters.

The only two rational reasons for deficit spending are to get us out of a recession or to pay for a war. Since 1983, the party that used to stand for fiscal integrity, has practiced "Borrow and Spend" to hold down taxes to upper-income Americans while continuing to provide Veterans' services and fund other programs popular with middle income Americans. At the same time they blamed the poor, old and infirm for budget shortfalls. Alternating with Borrow and Spend, the other party looked the other way so they could get their programs funded.

It took us 40-years to get to this point. We didn't just wake-up in debt. Incrementalism got us here, and it can get us back to sane fiscal policies. But it can't be one person or one party. And it needs to be the project of those who value results more than getting credit.

As capitalist, I have never been envious of people who were faster, stronger or smarter than me and made more money. And, as I recall, you already rejected my incremental approach of decreasing spending 1% per year for 5-years while increasing taxes for the rich by 1% per year for 5-years to do away with deficits and pay down the debt. Doing away with allowing people to take stock as salary and not paying straight income tax would cover the 1% handily. But now you step forward to save us from being ripped off by the same people? It's getting hard to tell which side of the street you're working.
