Nice thing about Cold War is you don’t have to buy new maps. All the DLC is free. And the progression is really good. I’d argue Outbreak is an extremely underrated mode.

But you constantly need an internet connection to activate your account. And if you play offline, you can’t access Easter eggs or make custom classes.

Depends what you’re playing it on and what you’re buying it for.

The campaign and zombies are great. The multiplayer is almost nothing, and it’s not that deep.

And also you have to have Xbox live gold or PSN to link Activision accounts. So PC is the way to go for free online.

Well, I never did online there anyway. I tried once and I stopped due to an entire match being three eight year old mfs screaming and crying.

No I’m saying you need to pay for online in order to access the progression in zombies and Easter eggs because all of that is linked to an Activision account. For PC, you get that for free.

Cold War has one of the best campaigns in the series, but it’s not worth $60. It goes on sale for $20 all the time. Buy it then.
