It’s actually got a lot of realism for its time. It gets a lot right what Far Cry 5 got wrong.
- You can’t just scavenge the guns of your enemies because they might jam easily. So you’re better off using weapons from a dealer.
- You can’t buy anything with cash in this game. The economy is in shambles, so you have to find diamonds in briefcases if you need to buy something.
- Malaria forces you to take refuge often and constantly do missions for more pills.
- A lot of people complain about infinite respawning at road blocks and outposts, but this undermines the fact that this is a *warzone*. Obviously the outposts won’t be deserted once you’ve taken over them once.
- Cars don’t explode if you shoot them, they just stop working.
Does that mean it’s BETTER than 5? I’m not sure yet. Apparently I’m only 4% into the game.
