The character are just fine and have an incredible storyline and have actually inspired many people such as myself. One Piece has many villains that the pirates encounter and face several challenges like losing loved ones and fighting the villains. As the show progresses, the harder the villains get to beat their asses off and win. They use smart and strategic moves to win the hard and challenging fights that cause dramatic and tons of thrillers that make it better. Oh, also the crew get split up causing people to feel emotional and some scenes like new characters getting introduced makes it a fun and encouraging anime for everyone. Have I made my point.
