So, 1 crystalized charge requires 3 zonaite, and 1 energy well requires 100 crystalized charges, therefore 300 zonaite equals 1 energy well.
You need 3 energy wells for 1 full battery, so that's 900 zonaite
So for a full energy cell (8 of them) you'd need 7,200 zonaite but since we start out with 1 battery already we need to gather 6,400 zonaite.
It's still a lot, but you can find this stuff EVERYWHERE down in the depths. Just be careful while you fight monsters to get to it.
