Sounds like a girly show. Never watched it. Same with the Golden girls...

I haven't watched Gilmore Girls either, after I read a synopsis of the series and found the lead too unlikeable and her character progression too unbelievable. I watched one episode of The Golden Girls simply and solely because it was a Jeopardy-themed episode. It did not make me laugh at all.
