Idk about the meme itself. But it does make sense to be able to edit the title.

This: ***imgflip.com/i/7mdc7y*** is a meme I made, and I drew over the swear word so that I wouldn't get slapped with a NSFW label on the meme, but only after I made it, I realized that the drawing covering the swear was shifted up, and I can't do anything to change it :/

Also, I know that small users will probably edit all of their memes if they got onto the front page and say smt cringe like "Edit: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 100 UPVOTES OH MY GOSH", and it would ruin half of the front page memes, but idk... I think it would still be useful :)

This only happens if you draw on something using the draw tool, and then add spacing after it. This is why I tend to add spacing first, add my text, and then proceed to use the draw tool and cover up any swears.

I'd rather be able to edit comments.

Sure it can be frustrating to have to remake a meme because of a mistake, but it would be far more difficult to add the ability to edit them.

Comments on the other hand are just text, and I imagine it would be easier to edit.

That might lead to cringe "Edit: [enter cringe message here]" comments, and perhaps other problems that I can't think of, but I agree :]
