I will note that the Big Tent party is not the party to run with if you're interested in winning. Most of the party has left the stream. So lack of experience does not matter, as well are very unlikely to actually win.

I'm not in it to win, but to make a statement or at least cause a ruckus or simply liven things up. Otherwise everyone goes slack.
