I’m for criminal control

The thing is, not only people with criminal records kill people with guns. A gun can turn a regular person's bad day or slip of mind into a death. Only rigorous training and licensing will make the difference there.

What is rigorous training?
I’ve carried a gun for the last 27 years legally, and have never shot anyone. I have only had one formal training session in the civilian world.

That is very rare compared to criminal use of guns.

Even the ones that make the news are usually thugs playing with their guns pointing them at others.

I have and encourage gun owners to get training.

I will agree to licensing for gun ownership when you agree to a license to vote.
