Elina would crawl forward, her stance almost animal like "I can smell your pain...do you require assistance

Yai: !- *he backs up into a tree, getting startled*

Elina: "Do not fear, no harm will come, i'm here to help"

Yai: *looking around kind of frantically, seeing if there are any quick escape routes to run down*

Elina would sit down with a smile "You may run, I won't chase you..but your wounds are great and you may die"

Yai: …

Elina: "Do you want help?"

Yai: … *mumbles quietly* yes..

Elina: "Come here" She'd pat the ground in front of her

Yai: … *he slowly moves to her and sits down, further away than she was gesturing to*

Elina would scoot closer, showing that she had no weapons "I just wanna help"

Mars stood by a tree, looking at him with a blank expression. He looked around for a moment, then back at him "Oi." he said blankly.

Yai: !- *he stumbles as he tries to hide in a bush*

He put his hands up just a bit, looking at him blankly "I'm not here to hurt you." he said in a blank tone.

Yai: *he stays in the bush, looking out from it at Mars*

He sighed and lowered his hands, tilting his head a bit "Are you alright? You seem injured." he said and looked at the dim light on his head.

Yai: im- Im f-fine- *he seems to be just catching his breath* *his voice is quiet and deep*

He looked at him up and down "I'm not stupid. You're clearly not." he said and sighed.

Yai: … are you- human?-

He looked at him and opened his mouth a bit, revealing two sharp fangs “No.” he said blankly

Yai: *sighs quietly, relieved* o-ok- good- vampire?-

He nods "Yes." he said and closed his mouth.

Yai: *he gets up, struggling but leaning on a tree for support*

He carefull walked over to him "Do you need help?" he asked blankly.

Yai: … no..?

He raised a brow "Really?" he asked, not really believing him.

Yai: y-yes- *he said, flinching at pain while trying to move forward and away from the tree*

He sighed "No you're not. How can I help you?" he asked quietly.

Yai: *he says “ow” quietly under his breath as he takes a step forward* no- i d-don’t need help

He frowned "Liar." he said and scoffed.

Yai: im not lying!-

"Really? Try walking over to me without holding or leaning on to anything." he crossed his arms and backed up a bit.

Yai: e-easy! *he takes a few, shaky steps then falls over onto a tree, knocking it down almost like a domino, then it making a domino effect of trees falling in a circle around them*

He didn't react to the events, staring at him "Those trees seem to disagree." he said blankly.

Yai: shut up- *he grumbles and slowly sits up, still in pain*

He sighed and sat next to him, being a lot smaller "Let me help you." he said quietly.

Yai: *he sighed, still in pain* *he looked away from him but mumbled “sure-*

He nodded "Good. Where does it hurt most?" he asked and looked at him.

Yai: *looks down at himself, looking at all his injuries* *there is a giant gash in the side of his stomach, the most visible injury*

He sighed "Hold still." he mumbled and hovered his hand over the gash, his fingertips glowing a soft red.

Yai: *he looks at his fingers, the glowing slightly confuses him*

His pupils dilated a bit and his red eyes dimmed a bit, slowly healing the gash.

Yai: *watches it heal*

There was a sharp pain from it at first, but it calmed down a bit. Mars continued to heal his gash, watching it calmly.

Yai: why- are you helping me..?

He kept healing his gash and kept looking at it “I wanted to.” He said quietly and shrugged

Yai: just- because you wanted to..?

He nodded "I wasn't going to leave you here hurt, or else you might have ran into g human..." he mumbled.

Yai: so- you just… helped me? A complete stranger..?

He nodded softly “Mhm..” he said quietly, lowering his hand and the hash was healed, his eyes going back to normal.

Yai: … thank you..-

He looked at him and nodded “Mhm, you’re welcome”. He said and hovered his hand over his other minor injuries, his fingertips glowing again and healed them slowly

*he just silently watches, seeming to be trusting Mars a lot more now*

His eyes were dilated and he looked like he was losing energy. He shook it off and kept healing him, keeping a blank face.

Yai: are- you ok? You can stop healing if you are running low on energy-

He shook his head "I'm fine-" he said weakly, still healing his injuries with a determined look.

Yai: … *gently grabs his wrists and moves his hands away* no- do n o t overdo yourself-

He blinked and looked at him "I can regain my energy up in a bit..." he said quietly.

Yai: just- rest- do not rush to heal me, i am fine

He looked at him with hesitation. He sighed and nodded “Alright…can you let go of my wrists?” He asked quietly

Yai: *quickly lets go* yes- sorry

He nodded “Thanks…” he said and sighed “Stay here, I’ve got to find something real quick..” he mumbled and stood up.

Yai: okay-

He sighed and ran deeper into the forest. He came back a while later, looking more healthy and licked blood away from the corner of his mouth "Alright, I'm better now."

Yai: *is about to question what just happened in the forest but decides not to*

He sat next to him and hovered his hands over his injuries again, healing them.

Yai: s-so…. um-

He raised a brow "What's up?" he asked come kept healing him.

Yai: i- am just trying to have a conversation?- i guess?-

He nodded "What's your name?" he asked and kept healing him.

Yai: well- my actual name, or what others call me..?

"Your actual name." he said and looked at him.

Yai: oh- well- that name would be.. Yai.. Yai Kurai.. yours?-

"You have a pretty name. Mars Vergas." he said and nodded.

Yai: !- oh- t-thank you- you do as well!-

A small smile appeared on his face and nodded, headlig his injuries "Thank you."

Yai: you are welcome-

He pulled his hand back and looked at him "Done." he said and nodded.

Yai: thank you.. it is- rare to run into such kind people-

He nodded “You got lucky.” He said and sighed, crossing his arms “How did you get those wounds?” He asked and raised a brow.

Yai: well- um- ._. I- did not get in a fight with a group of human hunters- definitely not-

He facepalmed “Don’t underestimate them. That was stupid taking on a group of them.” He rolled his eyes and laid back on the ground.

Yai: i- did actually kill- them- all.. of them.. ._. But that is- not important-

He blinked “That’s a shocker. Good job then.” He gave him a thumbs up “That was still stupid.”

Yai: i know- but- they were h o r r i b l e people-

“When are they not.” He rolled his eyes “But again, good job.” He said and looked at him, nodding.

Yai: mhm- and- thank you-

He nodded “Mhm.” He said and looked around “Do you live here-?” He asked, raising a brow

Yai: kinda..?

“Uh-huh. We’re you coming from somewhere or going somewhere when you ran into the group of hunters?” He asked, tilting his head

Yai: *he pauses* … both?-

“That makes sense.” He said sarcastically “Well, even though you killed them, they got you pretty good.” He said and yawned, his fangs popping out.

Yai: y-yeah-… *he seems a lot more relaxed now*

“Nothing hurts anymore?” He asked, looking at him and tilted his head

Yai: mhm- no more pain- thanks to you

He blinked and smiled a little, looking away “Yeah yeah, you’re welcome.” He waved him off and nodded.

He chuckled quietly and sighed, sitting up “Will that…light on your head be alright-?” He asked, pointing at his head.

Yai: oh- yes- it will be fine- its even getting brighter after you healed me

He blinked “Oh, really? Yeah you’re welcome about that.” He said and stood up, brushing invisible dirt off of him and put his hands in his hoodie pocket

Yai: *stood up too*

“Will you get home alright?” He asked, raising a brow and tilted his head.

Yai: yes- i- i sure will!-

He looked at him for a moment and sighed, nodding “You better.” He mumbled

Yai: mhm!- i- can- even head home now! Safely! Veeeerrrry safely

He raised a brow and looked him up and down skeptically “Uh-huh, you better do.” He said and rolled his eyes.

Yai: well- goodbye then- i will be- heading home- *he walks backwards a bit* safely! *bumps his head on a tree branch when walking backwards and his light flickers* ow-

He facepalmed “You couldn’t even go a second without hurting yourself.” He said and sighed.

Yai: ._.

“You’re going to kill yourself on accident one of these days, I swear.” He sighed and rolled his eyed

Yai: *quietly says this but he can hear it* i mean- i already did-

He looked at him and frowned a little, looking away "I heard that.." he said quietly.

Yai: !- uhhh- heard- what?- ._.

“You’ve ended your life before.” He said, looking into the forest blankly.

Yai: well- not- me- i have… died before though ._.

He sighed and facepalmed “Of course.” He said and rolled his eyes.

“Alright, I don’t trust you going hoke by yourself so I’m going with you.” He said blankly and crossed his arms,

"I'm not asking." he said blankly, rolling his eyes.

"Too bad, I'm going with you." he said and scoffed.

He nodded "Good, lead the way." he said and put his hands in his pockets.

*Yai nods and runs off in a direction into the forest*

He sighed and quickly followed behind him, keeping his hands in his pockets.

*Yai seems very agile and way less clumsy now that he is healed, jumping over logs and roots*

He avoided trees and roots, following him swiftly and kept a blank look on his face.

*they get to a small cave opening with barrels and scrap metal by it*

He looked at it and tilted his head “Ah, you live here?” He asked vlankly

"Cozy." he said quietly as he looked around.

Yai: yes- it is- i suppose- “cozy” *he kind of stands awkwardly, Mars notices he looks almost- desaturated? His colors aren't as vibrant*

He looks at him and raised a brow "Yai? Are you alright?" he asked.

Yai: ? Yes- why wouldn’t i b- *he looks at his hand* oh-

"What's going on-?" he asked a bit concerned.

Yai: just haven’t been in water for- a while-

"Well then lets get you into water-" he said and nodded.

Yai: there is a pool of water in the cave

He nodded "Let's get you to it then." he mumbled.

Yai: *gestures to the opening of the cave, wanting to be polite and let him in first*

He nodded "Thank you." he said and went in first.

*the cave had above-water areas and rooms then also a few pools of water, that had sky light-like holes in the ceiling above them, shining dim moonlight to reflect on the clear water*

He looked around in awe "Alright, go in the water." he said and nodded.

*he was already in it- somehow* *he was under water for a few seconds then surfaced*

He looked at him "Better?" he asked and tilted his head.

Yai: *floating on his back* mhm

"Good." he sat by the edge and nodded.

Yai: why- do you trust me? You- followed me deep into the woods- and into a cave- and never questioned it-

He stayed quiet and shrugged "Had a gut feeling I should." he said quietly.

Yai: but- my species is k n o w n for being- “evil” and luring people to die-

"You were hurt.. I took my chances." he said and shrugged.

Yai: so you- saw a potentially deadly being and said “screw it, I’m gonna get close to it and try and help! Not like i could literally DIE or anything”??

“You got that right.” He said blankly, crossing his arms.

Yai: *sighs* you are- something-

He nodded "Yes sir I am." he said and shrugged.

He smiled just a bit, barely anything “Do you live by yourself?”

Yai: yes- i have since i was- *he pauses and counts to himself* 9

He frowned a bit “That’s a long time to be by yourself.” He said quietly.

Yai: it is normal for me-

He nodded a bit “Do you ever get lonely?” He asked softly.

Yai: at first- its normal for- Water Fae to.. abandon their children, especially their first borns- and then I just- got over the lonely feeling?

“Ah…I see. It’s still sad to hear.” He said quietly and sighed.
