IKEA is selling cars now?

Lol, I went to a GMC dealership for a replacement Savana van rearview mirror. For just the glass they wanted $216. Pretty sure at that rate for OEM parts for the cost of replacing every peice of the van individually, I could afford to buy an IKEA.

Probably could. For a rearview mirror I would just duct tape something if they want $216.

Good call, I got a hand mirror from the dollar store. It'll do until the $34 aftermarket replacement arrives next week. The punchline is the $34 replacement is the whole friggin side mirror assembly, not just the glass. Fxckin OEM part prices...🫨

The glass probably would cost just a few dollars. What a rip off to have to get the whole assembly when you only need the glass

I could have gotten just the mirror glass for $14 but figured it was worth another $20 to replace the weathered and scraped up mirror assembly along with it. Still cheaper than a trip to a scrap yard, plus it's new...whether it actually fits properly remains to be seen.

Hopefully it does fit. If not, the scrap yard may have something. Or you could try making the parts work good enough to get by
