Putin doesn’t care if biden is getting money or not, he’s not the one sending kickbacks.

There is nothing for Putin to gain by ending the war. Sanctions are not hurting him as bad as people were hoping, and until he personally has to go to bed hungry, he has nothing really to gain. He is happy having the US finance the war on the ukraines’ behalf. The more the US sends overseas, the less we have to fix our own problems.
