i've been thinking about it for like a year now, and doomguys past before he went insane is still cloudy so idk if we'll ever know

It depends on whether or not u think the classic doom games and modern ones are in the same timeline which I don’t think they are

And even if they arent technically the same timeline, the fact that there are slayer skins in eternal and the multiplayer in 2016 where multiple slayers exist at a time just screams that there is some kind of multiverse

Weeeeeeeelllllll in eternal in his flashback where one of the deags pick up his helmet and look at it its the classic helmet but, dont quote me on this because im not 100% sure, it shouldve been the helmet from doom 64 because that was the last game in that timeline but it wasnt because the one from 1993 and doom 2 is more recognizable than the one from 64

doom 64 is just a reimagining of doom 1, so doom 2 still comes after
