I would start with the first game that was made in 1996 and also research more but after the first look at NiGHTS journey of Dreams which is supposed to be a parallel version of the first game

from what i know NiGHTS helps children in their dreams that are struggling to overcome their fears or something? anyway they can bond and link or smth with them
